The Treatment Process
At your consultation, the physician will discuss your goals and expectations. After an assessment, she will devise a personalized treatment plan for you with a thorough discussion of the recommended filler. The treatment typically takes 30 – 60 minutes. The area that is being treated will be cleansed with an antibacterial agent. The physician will make a series of marks and apply numbing as needed. The number of injections will depend on the area being treated and the amount of filler being used. When the treatment is complete, all the marks will be removed, ointment will be applied, and the application of ice will be used if necessary. There is typically minimal downtime with filler injections. Further discharge instructions will be provided at the time of treatment.
The Juvederm Collection
Juvederm Voluma is a dermal filler designed to add volume to the cheeks. With the aging process comes the inevitable flattening of the cheeks, but with Voluma, we can re-inject volume into the area, and the results will last approximately two years. We can also use Voluma to improve the appearance of the chin profile; post-treatment, results will last up to one year.

Biostimulators: Collagen-Stimulating Injectables
Radiesse is a biostimulator that contains calcium hydroxyapatite, also known as CaHA microspheres. When this gel formula is injected into the skin, the microspheres create a scaffolding for new collagen growth. The body responds to the treatment by growing new collagen and elastin. Radiesse treats some of the most common signs of aging on the face, including smile lines, nasolabial folds, and other facial lines and folds on the lower half of the face.
